Take the stress out of shopping and getting dressed
Give a woman an outfit and she looks fabulous for a day.
Teach a woman to dress and she looks fabulous for a lifetime.
copy cute outfits from Pinterest or Instagram, only to be disappointed with the end result?
try to incorporate trends into your wardrobe, but you feel like they were meant for someone else?
You don’t have to experience all this frustration. Getting dressed can be easier, with less stress and more confidence. Isn’t that what we all want in our lives?
You can stop having anxiety about your body and they clothes you put on it and start enjoying the process and creativity of getting dressed just like you did as a kid playing dress up.
That’s why I created this course– as a tool to empower women; To change the self talk from negative to positive; To fill the first minutes of our day with accomplishments and pride, not with self-loathing, or feelings of being inadequate.
You may question why dressing for your body shape even matters. For you, maybe it doesn’t. Maybe everything looks fantastic on you.
But it doesn’t for me. Let me tell you about my personal experience. . .
For the better part of the last decade, the most common silhouette of our day has been the skinny jeans with an loose to oversized top. I know many of you probably love this combo. If you do and you feel great wearing it, then that’s wonderful. I’m so glad that the trends of our times suits you.
I, however, do not feel comfortable wearing that oh so popular ensemble. I don’t feel that it flatters me. It doesn’t make me look my best or give me confidence. It makes me feel like I want to hide.
I came to the realization, that I could either “fit in” with the crowd and be “in style” OR I could feel good about my appearance. For me, the two were mutually exclusive.
After experimenting with a few looks, trying to get my style to “fit in” with what everyone else was wearing, I gave up. I traded in my loose blouses for some tailored ones and embraced more classic, timeless and iconic styles and silhouettes.
I couldn’t be happier about it. I feel more confident about embracing my shape and I know that my style is now a timeless reflection of myself. Sure, there will be little things that will need an update as the years go on, but I’m not going to look back 10 years from now and say “WHAT WAS I THINKING?”
I’m dressing for MY BODY SHAPE now. I’m wearing what I think is beautiful. I’m not a captive of the trends of the day and it’s liberating.
Trade your yoga pants and t-shirt in for real clothes and feel like you are prepared for anything every time you walk out the door.
Because you'll know which styles are more suited for your figure, you can cleanse your wardrobe of everything that does not serve you making it easier to pick out something to wear and look fabulous in every morning.
When you have a list of "go-to" styles, it makes shopping easier by eliminating decision fatigue. Get in, pick it out, try it on and get on with and enjoy more of your life.
With your new found knowledge you'll be able to say "no" to the items that will ultimately just end up sitting in your closet. You'll make fewer, but better purchases, saving you money.
You may think you don’t have the time, money, or ability to dress for your body type. I guarantee after completing my course, you’ll spend less time shopping and getting dressed (and feel better while doing it). You’ll be able to pass up on those clothing items that will ultimately just sit in your closet taking up space and being a waste of money. The course is divided into baby steps with lots of visuals so that anyone can learn the concepts of dressing for your body shape.
You may think that it’s not important to dress for your body shape. Can you put a price on confidence and the compounding effect it has on your life? Can you put a price on feeling less stress? How much of a difference will it make in your attitude and therefore, the rest of your day, when you get dressed with ease?
If you ask me, it’s totally worth it.
Here’s what one of my beta students had to say:
Hi, nice to meet you. I’m Kim Jarman. You may ask why I’m qualified to teach this course. Other than being a woman and struggling with my body and what to wear everyday, I also have a degree in Apparel Design. I have continued my study of design and instead of chasing the creation of the next “it” piece have focused my time on studying how the body interacts with design elements.
I’ve experienced first hand the effect uncomplimentary trends have on my own appearance. Because of my education, I have an advantage. I’m not chained to the current trends or popular silhouettes. I don’t want any other women to feel less than exceptional. I don’t want other women to feel trapped in the status-quo. I’m passionate about helping women look and subsequently feel their best.

Studies show that the average woman spends $1,800 a year on clothes and it’s often said nearly half or more of the clothes that a woman buys go unworn. That equates to about $900 per year.
Eye opening right?
Don’t you think it’s worth the time, effort, and money to invest in yourself so that you can be more confident in yourself and a better steward of your money?
